What the Timeline does in the app
A real timeline, not a to-do list
Every day of your trip is a tab labelled with its real date and weekday. Under it runs a true vertical timeline — a dot and connector line for every stop, and a card showing its clock time, a cost pill, and a time-spent chip. The stop you should be at right now highlights in amber, and the first and last stops of the day are marked with a little home icon.
Drag to reorder — times fix themselves
Long-press any stop and drag it to a new position. Every following stop's clock time is recomputed automatically: each stop starts when the previous one ends. Drag a stop to the top of the day and it simply inherits the day's start time. No math, no retyping.
Tap a time to change it
Tap a stop's time and a native time picker opens. Change the day's first stop and every later stop shifts by the same amount. Two friendly sliders set “Road time” and “Spending time” for each stop, so the schedule matches how you actually travel.
One tap to the map
Every stop has a navigation icon that opens that place in Google Maps. A day-route button goes further: it opens the entire day as a multi-stop Google Maps walking route, with your stops in their scheduled order.
AI builds the day from your real trip
Answer a few questions and TripOverall's AI — “your perfect trip, planned in 2 minutes” — picks real places, clusters each day geographically, respects your pace and meal times, and schedules the trip day by day. Add your boarding pass or hotel booking as a photo or PDF and the AI reads it: your departure airport lands on the timeline 3 hours before take-off, the arrival airport appears at landing time, and your hotel shows up on every night — with its check-in time on the arrival day. Tell it where you're staying and each day is clustered close to your base. (Reading tickets is a Premium feature.)

A great day on the timeline still goes wrong if you packed for sunshine and got rain. TripOverall closes the loop: the forecast sits on your trip overview, and the packing list is built for your exact trip.
A packing list that knows your trip
TripOverall builds a packing checklist tailored to the trip itself: the destination city, your trip dates and season, and who's traveling — solo, couple, friends, or family with kids. Kids' ages matter too: a toddler puts a stroller rain cover on the list, a teen doesn't. Edit it like any checklist, and it's saved offline with the rest of your trip.
Free 5-day weather on the trip overview
Each day of the trip overview shows the destination's forecast — temperature and a conditions icon — free for every traveler. So the packing list and the day's plans match the real weather, not your guess from home.
